Quick Note
This project was to practice my web design and coding skills. The prototype website was coded with HTML, CSS and little bit of jQuery.
Challenge
Create e-commerce website using HTML, CSS and jQuery that present the minimalist fashion brand identify.
Outcome
My solution was to make the website in monochrome to show the brand’s minimalist style, and simplifies the style with rectangle shapes and many negative space to present the innovation & independent spirit which is I recognized from the research about its culture.
The Brand Information:
Alles/Schwars is a fashion brand that inspired by Berlin’s all black street fashion culture. The designer pays a lot of attention to the shape, material, and textures to be practical, graceful and neat. The demographic is both men and women in their 30-40s.
Design Process
I started researching the brand’s background and the Berlin’s street fashion culture which is their inspiration. Then, I created mood-board, site-map, and wireframe. Lastly, I coded and built the website using HTML, CSS, jQuery and Bootstrap.
